  |   Events

Thursday 7 December 2023 from 8.45 a.m.
Marthe Condat Auditorium

University of Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier

Ground floor, central administrative building

118 route de Narbonne, 31062 Toulouse Cédex 9

The Annual General Meeting is a unique opportunity, open to all, to find out how the past year has gone, and 2023 has been a busy one for Genotoul!

It’s also a time to listen to what others have to say and to discuss the research work, new technologies and equipment presented by our colleagues.

Not forgetting the entertainment: quiz, trophy presentation, etc.

The morning programme will include: a year with Genotoul, cross-platform projects, highlights and news, a meeting with Julien Cau, Director of Biocampus Montpellier, a two-ton workshop, etc.

Given the success of the “My techno in 180 seconds” presentations at the last event, we are looking forward to receiving your applications and presentations (free subject and fun format possible) by email to: sophie.le-gonidec[@]inserm.fr and christelle.gerardin[@]inrae.fr

Afternoon workshop: this year we’re changing the format, with a collective theme dedicated to “climate and environmental issues”. This workshop will be open to a maximum of 70 participants, divided into sub-groups of 10-12 people for a “2-ton” presentation (registration required as space is limited).

This workshop will enable you to discover the individual and collective levers for the transition to a low-carbon world, by working as a team to create your own low-carbon transition scenario up to 2050. To do this, we will simulate the transition in France based on your carbon footprints and your choices, and you will be able to visualise in real time their impact on the evolution of emissions, at both individual and collective level.

Please note that the afternoon is reserved for platform staff to encourage discussion.

Registration until 1/12/23 (including: lunch break and 2-tonne workshop reservation)
