The second Congress of Microbiology in Occitanie, Microbiocitanie 2019, will be held from February 18th to 20th, 2019 in Montpellier.
The Occitanie region is rich in a large number of public and private laboratories working in the field of microbiology in the broadest sense of the term (infectious diseases, food safety, antimicrobial resistance, evolution and microbial ecology, symbiosis, microbiome and health, industrial microbiology and biotechnologies). These research forces provide a continuum that ranges from basic to applied research in the areas of ecology, evolution, environment, agriculture, food, animal and human health and biotechnology.
