The Societal platform joins the seminar “CommonData: Method, Scientific Integrity and Data”, February 16th 2018 in Montpellier.
Today, the production of big data is facing many challenges. Scientific research is obviously not spared by this phenomenon stemming from the digital revolution and the effects of which are perceived as soon as the data acquisition.
The formulation of scientific hypotheses based on the analysis of data is becoming a modus operandi in the production of scientific knowledge, thus opening up prospects for thinking about the practices of acquisition, conservation and data archiving in order to make them “FAIR” (findable, accessible, interoperable, re-usable).
